Men’s Rosary Crusade – First Saturday June

When God’s warriors go down on their knees, the battle is not over, it has just begun.

Our next men’s Rosary Crusade will be on 4th June 2022, this will be our 6th Men’s Rosary Crusade, our last one  saw another great turn out, an amazing and blessed day –  praise the Lord!!

The Men’s Rosary Crusade in Sydney is open to all Catholic men young or old, all are welcome. The public rosary at St. Mary Cathedral, will commence at 1pm sharp in the forecourt. Please share this message far and wide and call all the men you know to battle. Remember, you may have been born a man, but you become a Knight. Join the Rosary Crusade. Make reparation for the sins committed against our God and show public witness to your fidelity and faith in God.

NOTE: Those men that would like to take the opportunity and take up the practice of the Five first Saturday devotion (as requested by Our Lady of Fatima) are encouraged to do so, confession is available at the Cathedral from 11.30am, with Holy Mass at 12pm.

Being part of a public rosary in front of St Mary’s cathedral was a huge witness in my spiritual life. I had an image of the pain Jesus felt, this made me persevere through mine! As I knelt on the hot blazing court yard tile, I felt so inspired and blessed by the Holy Spirit. Truly an amazing act to be part of!” — Stjepan

 

“The saints have said many things about the power of the Rosary, but seeing a large group of men praying the Rosary on their knees outside St. Mary’s Cathedral was very inspiring. Men’s Mass – Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima – 2022

Join us for our annual men’s mass to celebrate the Feast day of Our Lady of Fatima. Always a great turn out, uplifting homily, opportunity for confession and as usual socialising with other brothers.

 

8:00pm, 13th May 2022, St. Anthony’s – Croatian Catholic Church Summer Hill, 15 Prospect Rd, Ashfield.

7.30pm, Krunica (Rosary) – Confession will be available during this time.

Jesus Continues His Work: A Course for Men on the Sacraments

Men – Have you ever pondered on how to have a closer encounter with Jesus? Are you seeking a greater appreciation and yearning to know Jesus more?

Join us on this magnificent 8 week journey as Dr Andrew Wood explains how we can encounter Jesus more closely in the sacraments. The course is FREE and open to all men and will will run over an 8 week period (Thursday nights, 8-9 pm) starting 19th May thru to 7th July. The course is designed for MEN only, and the aim is to help us men obtain a greater appreciation and love for Jesus as we encounter Him in the sacraments.

We recently had the pleasure of listening to a presentation by Dr Wood in person at the last monthly Men’s Breakfast held at Blacktown. What an amazing presentation – all the men were left in awe wanting to know more, wanting to encounter Christ more and be closer to Him.

Our next men’s Rosary Crusade will be on 7th May 2022, this will be our 5th Men’s Rosary Crusade, our last one  saw about 150 men attend, very inspiring to see dad’s with their young son’s kneeling in pray together, an amazing witness –  praise the Lord!!

The Men’s Rosary Crusade in Sydney is open to all Catholic men young or old, all are welcome. The public rosary at St. Mary Cathedral, will commence at 1pm sharp in the forecourt. Fourth annual gathering of Croatian Catholic men from across Australia who seek to be encouraged and challenged by one another, to become the men God created us to be.

Great spiritual weekend and great bonding with the Knights of the Precious Blood.

 

I have finally seen the light after searching for more than 30 years, I thank you and our God and Saviour above for letting me in.

 

Really enjoyed this weekend good bunch of blokes. Well thought off well done boys.

 

This was my first time, really felt closer to God and there was quite a few light bulb moments.

Pridružite nam se na 90-dnevnoj korizmenoj duhovnoj vježbi za muškarce

17. siječnja započinjemo naše 90-dnevno putovanje koje nas vodi kroz korizmu i završava na Uskrsnu nedjelju.

Exodus90 je katolički duhovni program za MUŠKE koji  omogućuje sudionicima da se približite Bogu, da preuzmu kontrolu nad svojim životom i postanu bolji. Prošle godine oko 60 muškaraca različitih dobi iz naše Hrvatske zajednice u Sydneyu  sudjedlovali su u programu te se žele upisati i ove godine.

Program počinje 17. siječnja, 90 dana prije Uskrsa. Bit će to vrijeme molitve, samoodricanja, izgradnja samodiscipline i  bratstva (tjedni susret sudionika iz naše Hrvatske zajednice).
” Izlazak” u Exodus90, odnosi se na Knjigu Izlaska u Bibliji; tako nazvanoj zbog izlaska izraelskog naroda iz Egipatskog ropstva.
Broj 90, odnosi se na broj trajanja Programa; 90 dana je potrebno da se razbiju loše navike i formiraju dobre (tako kažu ljudi koji znaju).
Odvojite vrijeme za pogledati video i podijelite drugima. Dobro je potaknuti i druge na rast u vjeri.
Možemo biti zahvalni Bogu što imamo 2 snažna  Programa u našoj zajednici koji nas oblikuju i pomažu u našoj kršćanskoj izgradnji, a to su: Program za žene- Magnify90, i Program za muške Exodus90.

St. Francis of Assisi Novena Starts on 25 September to 3 October

Devetnica sv. Franji Asiškom započinje 25. rujna i završava 3. listopada, dan uoči svečeva blagdana (Blagdan sv. Franje Asiškog slavimo 4. listopada). Uključite se u molitvi zajedno našem Franjevcu sv. Franju i neka ova devetnica bude naš dar Bogu i njemu.

Croatian Men’s EXODUS 90 – Thanksgiving Mass

Join us for a Thanksgiving Mass

8:00pm, 30th April 2021, Our Lady of the Grand Covenant – Croatian Catholic Church Blacktown.

This day is a monumental day in our nations history, 350th anniversary of the death of two of our Nation’s hero’s Petra Zrinski & Frane Krste Frankopana 30. April 1671.

In Croatia April 30th is dedicated as a memorial to the Zrinskis and Frankopans, symbols of sacrifice for the freedom and justice of the Croatian people and the Croatian homeland, is marked with the motto “Navik on živi ki zgine pošteno” (Eternally he lives who dies with integrity).
